OVERVIEW
Hadfield Sporting Club oversees a number of affiliated clubs, including Football, Netball, Cricket, and the Sports Club itself. At the helm of the Sporting Club is Roger Pell, who has been instrumental in bringing cohesion across all club entities. Following the development of the Hadfield Football Club website in 2013, the committee engaged DESC Designs to support all associated clubs with their online presence.
THE BRIEF
The Sporting Club required a central online platform to represent the umbrella organisation and provide clear, direct access to each affiliated club. The goal was simplicity—just a unified digital entry point for users to reach the relevant club sites.
THE APPROACH
A clean, functional placeholder website was created, serving as a central landing page for Hadfield Sporting Club. The site includes clear links to each club’s individual website, ensuring easy navigation for members and the wider community. While the design is intentionally minimal, DESC Designs manages the site’s health, safety, and ongoing digital maintenance to ensure it remains secure and reliable.
THE OUTCOME
Hadfield Sporting Club now benefits from a professional online hub that effectively connects its network of clubs. The simple structure serves its purpose efficiently, while ongoing support from DESC Designs ensures consistent performance, updates, and digital safety.
