OVERVIEW
EKCC (East Keilor Cricket Club) has been a long-standing client, following the successful creation of the EKFC (East Keilor Football Club) website. This project has evolved over the years, adapting to the club’s growing needs and changing digital landscape.
THE BRIEF
After the launch of EKFC, I was approached to design and develop a dedicated website for the cricket club. The goal was to create a user-friendly, engaging platform to support players, members, and supporters — with features tailored to the seasonal and community-driven nature of the sport.
THE APPROACH
Under the Game Plan package, the EKCC website was built with flexibility in mind. Key features include:
- Regular updates to align with modern web trends
- Fixtures, results, and event listings to keep members informed
- An integrated e-commerce platform selling player uniforms and supporter merchandise
- A news blog maintained on behalf of the club to keep supporters engaged with current happenings
THE OUTCOME
The website has become a central hub for EKCC’s community — not just for information but also as a commercial touchpoint. With its responsive design, up-to-date content, and seamless online shop, the site continues to support the club’s digital presence and engagement year-round.
