THE PROJECT
Hadfield Sporting Club is the umbrella organisation supporting a number of affiliated sporting clubs, including Football, Netball and Cricket.
With each club operating with its own website and identity, the Sporting Club needed a simple central online presence that could bring the network together and make it easy for members and the wider community to find the right club.
THE BRIEF
The brief was deliberately straightforward: create a professional digital home for Hadfield Sporting Club that would act as a central gateway to its affiliated clubs.
The website needed to:
- Clearly represent the Sporting Club as the umbrella organisation
- Provide direct links to each affiliated club
- Keep navigation simple and intuitive
- Work effectively across desktop and mobile devices
- Remain secure, reliable and easy to maintain
There was no need to overcomplicate the project. The website simply needed to do its job well.
THE APPROACH
DESC Designs created a clean, functional landing page focused on clarity and ease of navigation.
Rather than duplicating information from the individual clubs, the website acts as a central directory, giving visitors a clear starting point before directing them to the relevant Football, Netball or Cricket website.
The intentionally minimal design keeps the focus on the organisation and its affiliated clubs, while ongoing website maintenance, security and updates are managed by DESC Designs to ensure the platform remains reliable.
THE RESULT
Hadfield Sporting Club now has a simple, professional digital hub that connects its affiliated clubs under one umbrella.
The streamlined approach makes it easy for visitors to find their way to the information they need, while providing the Sporting Club with a reliable central online presence.
Sometimes the best website is the one that doesn't try to do too much — it simply makes everything else easier to find.
