THE PROJECT

Stevie's Walk is a family and community-driven initiative established to honour Steven's memory while raising awareness and funds in support of mental health initiatives.

Each September, Stevie's Walk brings together family, friends, supporters and the wider community through fundraising campaigns designed to encourage participation, awareness and support.

DESC Designs was asked to create a completely new website that would become the central digital hub for Stevie's Walk — providing a place to share its story, promote fundraising campaigns, connect with supporters and accept online donations.

The website needed to balance meaningful storytelling with practical functionality, creating an experience that was respectful of the organisation's purpose while making it simple for visitors to get involved and contribute.

THE BRIEF

THE APPROACH

The project also included the establishment of the website's core digital infrastructure, including domain configuration, hosting, business email and essential website security and maintenance considerations.

This provided Stevie's Walk with a complete digital foundation rather than simply a standalone website.

A DONATED PROJECT

Stevie's Walk was a particularly meaningful project for DESC Designs.

Although the completed website represents the scope and functionality of a Growth Package offered by DESC Designs, the project was provided as a donated contribution in support of Stevie's Walk.

By donating the website development, DESC Designs was able to help establish a professional digital platform while allowing the organisation to direct its resources towards its fundraising activities and purpose.
