Anna Van Dyken, the face behind Feed Me Healthy, has been a long-standing client since 2017. With her incredible success on WW (Weight Watchers), where she lost over 70kg, Anna quickly grew a large and engaged social media following. As her community expanded, so too did the need for a dedicated online space where people could access her recipes, track her weight loss journey, and stay connected with her story. Over the years, her website has evolved alongside her career, her book releases, and advances in web technology.
THE BRIEF
- 2017: Create Anna’s first Feed Me Healthy website to serve as a recipe hub and share her inspiring weight loss timeline with her growing audience.
- 2018: With mobile usage rapidly increasing, update the website to be more responsive and user-friendly on all devices.
- 2020: Showcase the release of Anna’s first book, ensuring fans could easily learn about and purchase it.
- 2021: Add fresh design elements and functionality to highlight the release of her second book and keep the website feeling modern and engaging.
- 2024: With WordPress rolling out a major update, rebuild the site from the ground up. The aim was to create a cleaner, faster, and more professional experience, ensuring Anna’s brand remained as fresh and inspiring as her content.
THE APPROACH
- Initial Build (2017): Designed and launched a recipe-focused website with a dedicated section for Anna’s weight loss timeline, giving her community an easy way to explore her journey and cooking inspiration.
- Progressive Updates (2018–2021): Implemented mobile-friendly design, integrated her book releases with promotional content, and kept the site aligned with modern design standards to reflect her growing brand.
- Rebuild (2024): With major platform changes, opted for a complete rebuild rather than minor adjustments. Focused on speed, sleek design, and streamlined navigation to create a professional website that would carry Anna’s brand into the future.
- Ongoing Partnership: Anna continues to trust the creative process, giving freedom to implement new technologies and visual updates while providing clear direction when it comes to her goals.
THE OUTCOME
The website has grown into a central hub for Anna’s recipes, story, and publications, complementing her strong social media presence.
